Union Day festivities in Mandalay

At least, that's what we think was happening. We saw several mini convoys of pick ups carrying people in colourful outfits, some with loudspeakers playing loud music, some with just lots of people in a party mood. This was Feb 11th, and Union Day is Feb 12th, so we're not sure. That's the old Royal Palace in the background.
