Also, I'm no angler but how come nets and and mats must be dry before you fish. Seems about as logical as washing up before eating to save time later! If you know your CS Lewis, you will recognise Dufflepud logic here!

Hi Andy, the reason for the sign is a few years back there was a disease spreading around the local lakes, so all nets mats etc had to be washed and dried so not to transmit the disease lake to lake through bacteria breeding on wet nets & mats etc. hope this reads clear for you. as for the cages have got to find out!
