Antonio Maceo Grajales
The sculptor Alberto Santiago Lescay designed this 16 m tall sculpture of Antonio Maceo, who requests people to join the battle (they can take the blue bus today - see the image after next). The statue is made from 430 bronze elementst with a weight of around 90 tons. The monument is surrounded by 23 giant iron machetes.

Das stärker werdende Blau hebt die Figur schon toll hervor....die Spitzen...ich glaub, da kommt noch die Auflösung :)
