It is a nice half-day hike, but you should start very early in the morning because of the afternoon heat. From the Bastione di Riva , there are many serpentines leading up to the Via Ferrata dell Amicizia . In summer, the climb is an extremely sweaty affair. Information board at the start of the Via Ferrata dell' Amicizia . From there it is 620 metres of climbing up (see topo below). The special feature of this climb is the very long iron ladders. They are the longest in all of Europe - never difficult, but sometimes quite airy. The route was built in 1972 to mark the centenary of the SAT (Società Alpinisti Trentini). ~~~~~ Hinweistafel am Einstieg der Via Ferrata dell' Amicizia . Von dort aus geht es 620 Klettermeter aufwärts (siehe unten abgebildete Topo). Die Besonderheit dieses Steigs sind die sehr langen Eisenleitern. Es sind die längsten in ganz Europa - nie schwer, aber teilweise recht luftig.
