This Yellow Cab in the Hangar-7 at Airport Salzburg (Austria) is an original Checker Cab from 1963. And, of course, this particular vehicle isn't just any old car either. It first appeared in Salzburg in 2006 as part of the art exhibition HangART-7 Edition 4 New York. The Austrian photo artist Mathias Kessler, who lives in New York, staged the yellow cab at night in different Salzburg locations, creating impressive works of art with a very special radiance. The backdrop was illuminated with extremely powerful film set lights, which pushed the city's electrical grid to its limit. ~~~~~ Dieses Yellow Cab (lizensiertes New Yorker Taxi) im Hangar-7 am Flughafen Salzburg (Österreich) ist ein Original Checker Cab von 1963. Und natürlich ist dieses spezielle Fahrzeug auch nicht irgendein altes Auto. Es erschien erstmals 2006 in Salzburg im Rahmen der Kunstausstellung HangART-7 Edition 4 New York. Der in New York lebende österreichische Fotokünstler Mathias Kessler inszenierte das gelbe Taxi nachts an verschiedenen Salzburger Standorten und schuf so eindrucksvolle Kunstwerke mit einer ganz besonderen Ausstrahlung.
