von touristischen Überlegungen mal abgesehen - ziemlich verschandelt, der Berg....
mir ist klar, daß die Leute vor Ort Arbeit und Einkommen benötigen. Allerdings ist der Gipfel m.E. sehr prominent verunstaltet.

Dem stimme ich voll zu. Genau wie bei der Zugspitze wurden sogar ein paar Meter des Gipfels weggesprengt. Und das Spektakel an der bergstation ist ebenso heftig.
Das ist einer der Gründe, warum wir Klettersteige gehen und Bergbahnen normalerweise meiden. Auf die Weise können wir auf den einen oder anderen Gipfel, ohne dass uns der Geruch von Pommes in die Nase steigt.

Es sind glücklicherweise nur wenige Hot Spots in den Alpen so verschandelt.
Abseits davon findet man noch viele stille Plätze.
