Aber die Gebirgsjäger haben andere Schwerpunkte.
In Vergleich dazu sind unsere Kraxeleien in den Bergen Kinderkram.

Cool HFF (belated)

It reminded me of a long ago adventure in which we pitched a tent in the approaching darkness only to discover, the next morning, that we were right in the middle of military manoeuvres in what was then still Jugoslavia ... one of the few times in my life I was wide awake before daylight and hitting the road with no thought of breakfast :D

I'm glad that I was able to bring this memory back to you with this unspectacular photo.

Actually, I find the photo, if not spectacular, definitely intriguing (as well as beautifully composed and detailed, but that is to be expected from you, of course!). In my case it triggered a specific memory, but anyone who has ever walked in the mountains will have come across similar markings at some point and wondered what they meant. It awakens a curiosity and does what really good pictures do: engage your imagination and tell a story!

That's exactly my motivation again and again: to show things that you don't come across every day.

Na,da muss man aber schon genau hinsehen..........
