IN the meantime the all electric Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate AWD with a 73kW battery will give you 200 miles in winter. Charged off our solat panels that is zero cost per 200 miles. If charged off-peak 200 miles costs £2.10 in electricity. The BMW 535d M Sport it replaced would have required £56.42 of diesel to go the same distance: No contest!

Auf diese Zukunft will ich nicht warten.
Ich fahr schon seit 5 Jahren Hybrid und bin höchst zufrieden damit.

Unfortunately, the charging infrastructure in the Alps is not yet well enough developed for pure electric cars. Therefore, hybrid is the best transitional solution for the next 5 years.
