Where Vultures are Resting
A wonderful early summer day in the Geierwand *) near Haiming (Tyrol, Austria). This climbing wall is located west of Innsbruck. Below in the Inn valley the river, the apple orchards and the highway leading from Kufstein to Bregenz and Switzerland.

Bergfex club has replied to Leon_Vienna clubIn diesem Sommer ist leider der Arlberg-Tunnel wegen Instandsetzungsarbeiten voll gesperrt. Man muss also über den Arlberg-Pass, wenn man zu den Bregenzer Festspielen will.

Das Inntal habe ich so einigemal befahren (auch virtuell). Die Ortsnamen, auf die man dabei stösst haben eine Besonderheit -sie haben alle nur eine Silbe.
Da gibts -neben Imst- noch Prutz, Fließ, Zams, Saurs,Silz, Mötz, Rietz, Telfs, Oetz, Zirls, um nur die bekanntesten zu nennen.
