The Plank Bridge

The Plank Bridge
Very high at the Exner Rock you have to cross over an adventuresome plank bridge to achieve the Bruneck Rock. The cleavage is hundreds of meters deep (look at the topography).

Hoch oben am Exner Turms ist eine abenteuerliche Übergangsbrücke zum Brunecker Turm. Sie überspannt einen hunderte Meter tiefen Spalt (siehe Topo).

Die Brücke erscheint gegen den Rest des Steiges schon fast komfortabel. Toller Blickwinkel. Schleppst du da viel Glas mit hoch?

Normalerweise hab ich nur die LX100 dabei - ideal für Bergtouren, weil mit Sucher(!), gutem Weitwinkel und RAW-Modus. Wenn ich allerdings von früheren Begehungen weiß, dass eine Tour fotografisch lohnenswert ist, kommt meine DSLR (aktuell die D 7.200) mit dem TOKINA 11-20 mm (f/2,8) und dem NIKKOR 18-140 (f/3,5-5,6) ins Gepäck. Mehr Tele braucht's im Gebirge nicht. Da ist bei gutem Bergsteigerwetter immer so viel Zeugs in der Luft, dass längere Brennweiten nichts bringen.

P.S. (ungefragt): Manchmal haben meine Frau und ich unter'm Helm ein Bluetoth-Headset dabei. Damit können wir uns verständigen wie Motorradfahrer. Wir nutzen das allerdings nie für die normale Kommunikation, sondern ausschließlich für Foto-Shootings. Es ist eben nicht alles Zufall, was so erscheint . . .
