Reconstruction of the 50 years old ropeway from Eibsee (Bavaria, Germany) to the top of the Zugspitze - under continuing operation of the old ropeway . It's not only the highest, but also the most expensive construction site in Gemany.
~~~~~
Nach 50 Betriebsjahren wird die Seilbahn vom Eibsee hoch zur Zugspitze totalsaniert - bei laufendem Betrieb der bestehenden Seilbahn! Es ist wohl nicht nur die höchstgelegene, sondern auch die teueste Baustelle Deutschlands.
Meine Frau und ich haben zusätzlich zum modernen Smart-Schnickschnack je ein Notfall-Berghandy mit einem Prepaid-Chip vom Hofer. So ein altmodisches Klapp-Dings von NOKIA: leicht, aber 5 Tage Akkulaufzeit (!), nur mit den wichtigsten Nummern.
Du musst nicht meinen, dass das dort oben funktionieren würde! Obwohl dort oben dutzende von Parabolantennen rumstehen und Hofer die Infrastruktur von Telekom Austria nutzt.
So siehts aus!
Ich lad später mal ein Bild hoch, auf dem man sieht, was manche sich für ein Gipfelfoto antun.
