autofantasia club has replied to Indycaver (Norm) clubAlso, if you look over here they're hugely popular too, but you can't say that's based on any memories of them growing up because there were hardly any.
Personally, I worry about being able to keep the old Scirocco going in years to come because unlike these cars so much of the trim etc is plastic. I mean if the bumper on your old Chevy is a bit ropey you can easily repair/reproduce the parts yourself and get them re-chromed and it's the same with a lot of what makes up the really old cars. If it breaks just fabricate something new in metal and hey presto.
Not so easy when your bodykit or bumper that's almost 100% plastic gets busted. It's already getting hard to get really good condition parts and I can see that getting much, much more difficult fairly soon.
Now if you don't mind I'm going for a lie down! ;)
