The house of the tanners
This house, also called Gerwerstub, built in 1572, was one of the many tanneries in the neighbourhood, the tanners have disappeared and in 1949 the building was converted into a restaurant.
It is particularly popular with lovers of Alsatian specialities for its sauerkraut and foie gras. An ideal location, in the picturesque quarter of the old town with the view of the Ill give it a special charm .
