Cycling from Bordeaux Vineyards to the Atlantic Coast / Dune du Pilat

Today more than one million tourists visit the dune every year.
On 24 January 2009, during a storm at the dune of Pilat, a peak wind speed of 175 km/h (109 mph) was registered, damaging the dune.
