Jack's Blowhole in the Catlins. It is located 200 m from the sea and is 144 m long, 68 m wide and 55 m deep.
Waves are compressed through the underground tunnel and explode into the blow hole. There is a lot of noise both from the water and from an air blast caused by the rising of the sea from the tunnel.
