PARADOXE

although useless and meaningless
life is precious
because we only live once

we walk around entranced by the sky
the sea
the forest
the mountain
and the man

and then comes the cyclone
the tsunamis
the fire
the earthquake
and the war

the world seemed real
and suddenly everything disappears
with a god's snap of fingers
as if he was having fun with us

PARADOXO

embora inútil e sem sentido
a vida é preciosa
porque só vivemos uma vez

andamos por aí extasiados com o céu
o mar
a floresta
a montanha
e o homem

e depois vem o ciclone
o tsunamis
o fogo
o terramoto
e a guerra

o mundo parecia real
e de repente tudo desaparece
com um estalar de dedos de deus
como se se divertisse connosco

embora inútil e sem sentido
a vida é preciosa
porque só vivemos uma vez
