REDUNDANCY

poetry is the art of redundancy
it's a talk talk
it's a write write
and everything stays the same
sometimes when it invokes the mystery
the skin bristles
but it also bristles with the cold
and with the birds' song by daybreak
after all
if emotions per se are satisfying
why invent them?!
why reinvent them?!

a poesia é a arte da redundância
fala-se fala-se
escreve-se escreve-se
e fica tudo na mesma
às vezes quando invoca o mistério
a pele crispa-se
mas também se crispa com o frio
e com o canto dos pássaros ao albar do dia
se as emoções em si são satisfatórias
para quê inventá-las?!
para quê reinventá-las?!
