Paris, Museum of Carnavalet, Madame Récamier (painting)
by François Pascal Simon, Baron Gérard (1802)
.............................................................................................................................................................
Soon after I visited the museum I lost the piece of paper where I took note of the artist's identification. I didn't succeed in obtaining the right information through Internet as well.
Is there someone enable to provide me such an information?
Thanks very much in advance!
.............................................................................................................................................................
Due to the prompt co-operation of my friends Ron Talis & Demetrius Chryssikos, I was enable not only to be aware of the right identification of the portrait's author but also to amend the painted lady, Madame Récamier instead of Madame Josephine Napoleon.
Thanks again to both of them!
