what does a dream
cling to the wind's tail?

the wind travels over the world
the dream learns to fly

///

que faz um sonho
agarrado à cauda do vento?

o vento vai pelo mundo
o sonho aprende a voar

A imagem é perfeita para o poema, ou será o contrário? Não importa, eu simplesmente amei o todo!!! Beijo, poeta Armando ♥

why does a dream
cling to the wind's tail?

the wind sails to the sky
the dream learns to fly

Because you are an English speaker your version is lighter and more musical than mine. However, you don't follow the author's idea: the wind goes over the world and not into the sky. I think the perfect transladion would be:

why does a dream
cling to the wind's tail?

the wind travels over the world
the dream learns to fly

That's it ,Armando, a really good translation, musical and faithful.(Mine was too rhyme-heavy.)
