And that's why I did not photograph the rock drawing there. Emily Gap & Jessy Gap play a major role in the Dreamtime of the Arrernte people living here. Part 2 11th Day - 11.06.2019 Eastern MacDonnells The impressive dolomite structure of Corroboree Rock Conservation Reserve is of great importance to the local Arrernte Aboriginal people. Formed more than 800 million years ago by salt lakes, it is a sacred men's site that plays a significant role in culture today. The reserve is a registered sacred site and traditional owners ask that you stay on the marked track to protect this special place.
