Glockenspiel
Von März bis Oktober beginnt das Glockenspiel im Rathausturm des Neuen Rathauses am Marienplatzst um 11 und 12 Uhr sowie um 17 Uhr.
Zu hören sind jeweils vier unterschiedliche Stücke oder Lieder. Das Programm wechselt dabei monatlich.
Das beliebte Glocken- und Figurenspiel dauert etwa zwölf Minuten. Erst treten die Ritter in Aktion, dann tanzen die Schäffler, bis der Hahn das Spektakel durch dreimaliges Krähen beendet. Die Klänge werden von 43 zum Teil tonnenschweren Glocken erzeugt, die am Glockenstuhl unter dem Turmhelm aufgehängt sind.
