This is a male of Delicate Iguane a variety preserved in the reserve of the little "Petite-Terre" island, where they are about 2000. Other can be found in Dominique and Martinique.

Yes indeed and this variety is only present at Petite-Terre reserve (Guadalupe), Dominique and Martinique. In the little isaland of Petite-Terre live more than 2000 iguanes. They are everywhere even on the roof of the lighthouse.

Thanks, I used the old Lumix FZ18 in a sealed bag as going to Petite-Terre the boat leaves the people in a deep water. Didn't want to risk the Nikon.

Thank you William, taking pictures was not difficult as in the little island of Petite-Terre there are so many Iguanas (about 2000), they are everywhere and do not attack people unless closey molested.
