French Pyrenees 2006

We spent most of the day walking in the mist below, apart from a few minutes rest here on the Col de Tortes.

Not quite a mirror, but interesting reflections of the rock face above.

All the better to appreciate the view I suppose.

There is something very satisfying about a pool of water at the edge of drop.

It can be quite hot walking in the Pyrenees in summer, so resting up near water is not an option to pass over.

The cows in the Pyrenees seem to spend a fair time during the day taking things easy.
