59 Praying Mantis Ootheca

This egg mass of a Praying Mantis was found on a dead twig of a tree. Having brought it back to the hotel to take a picture of it, I was surprised to find that it was the home of an entirely different insect, as tiny ants began coming out of a small hole by the twig. A strange Ant's Nest.
