A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of the seventies (groovy pics or what have you) . A 1970 photo of a fashionable -- perhaps even groovy -- woman with an elaborate hair style, distinctive earrings, and a dress with bell sleeves . She's standing next to shelves containing a collection of plates, bowls, and other dishes. A spinning wheel, kerosene lamp, and television are visible in the background. Another photo that I purchased along with this one shows this woman seated on a couch in another part of the room with the same wallpaper. The handwritten note on the other side of that photo says, "June 1970, 35 yrs. old."

A close-up view of the turkey, pies, and other dishes set out for a family's early twentieth-century Thanksgiving dinner (or at least it looks like a Thanksgiving meal). See also the full version of this photograph.

A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of nightclothes (pajamas, nightgowns, robes, etc.) . This is an early twentieth-century photo of a man wearing pajamas. He's sitting on the edge of a bed that's covered by a quilt. A chair and luggage are situated next to the bed. A large headboard and patterned wallpaper are visible behind the man. This is an unused real photo postcard with no address, message, or postmark. On the back of the card is an Azo stamp box design (with four corner triangles pointing up) that suggests a time frame that may range from 1904 to 1918. Printed on the other side: "Kellogg Studios, Cuba, Fillmore, Rushford. P. H. Kellogg, Cuba, N.Y."

Did the little girl in pigtails that we can see in the photo on the wall grow up to be the young woman sitting on the couch? A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of the singer . Handwritten note on the other side of this photo: "1953. Imitating Eddie Cantor at Eagle Club in Wiesbaden, Germany." An unidentified man, who bears a resemblance to actor Eddie Cantor , stands and sings in front of a microphone. The musicians accompanying him are playing a piano, guitar, and clarinet. At the time this photo was taken, the Eagle Club was located in the Kurhaus -- spa house -- in Wiesbaden, Germany.

A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of bicycle or bicycles . This is an undated photo of a bicycle with training wheels. The bike is parked in someone's living room right between an RCA Victor television and a small table with a lamp.

I chose televisions for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of pick your own theme about things—objects, artifacts, or items . A young boy, who's wearing a robe over pajamas, is playing a toy guitar as he sits on an ottoman. There's a television set on the table behind him, and the walls are covered with the type of knotty pine paneling that was popular in the 1940s and 1950s. The boy's pajamas and all the Christmas decorations -- a poinsettia on the fireplace, ornaments in a glass bowl on top of the TV, and some more ornaments on the table that's partially visible on the right -- make me wonder if the boy has just received the guitar as a present on Christmas morning.
