Hold on for Just a Minuet
A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of holding hands.

Four costumed couples hold hands and pose as if they were beginning to dance a minuet. A handwritten note on the other side of this real photo postcard identifies the woman marked with the X as "Georgette Pinçon, Falaise, France. French correspondent." The "K Ltd." stamp box on the back may indicate a date between 1918 and 1936.

Nice postcard. Are the stamp marks the same as American postcards?

Hi Deborah, glad you enjoyed my caption. The stamp box on this card is similar to other ones except that the letters ware jumbled together in a sort of monogram (see the "K Ltd." image, which is the second example on "K-L" page of Playle's Real Photo Postcard Stamp Boxes listings). It took me a while to match it since I started looking under the Ls rather than the Ks.
