A Little Girl with a Big Bow—Mirror Photo
Printed on the back of this unused real photo postcard: "Atlantic City Souvenir. Myers-Cope Co., 1635 & 1521 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, N.J." On the other side of the card is an Azo stamp box (squares in each of the four corners) that suggests a date sometime in the 1920s, 1930s, or 1940s.

The little girl in this mirror photo (or "photo-multigraph") is posing with her right hand against one of the mirrors, which makes it look like she's holding hands with her other multiple selves. The real girl, of course, is facing away from the camera, and the remaining four images are mirror reflections.

Love these! The top big bow image is really wonderful. I'm guessing closer to 1920s since the style of bow on girls started around the 1890s and was still popular in the 1910s - but I'm not an expert at all!

Sorry to be late in thanking you for adding to the Vintage Enormous Bows group, Alan. I love these multiple image cards, and the enormous bows are terrific!
I agree with raingirl that the photo at the top looks more likely to be in the 20s than earlier.
The lower photo looks more like first decade or so of 1900s.

Thanks--belatedly--for all your comments! I like the idea of a DIY quintuplets photo, and I appreciate the date estimates for the bow styles--I'm terrible at judging the dates of photos based on clothing and hairstyles.
