Thanks Amelia, he was very cute, was pleased it came out, have never really tried to photograph small birds before. The May is already out in some locations in Shropshire, there is a very early clone at Meole Brace island in Shrewsbury that looks great already. Have to admit, Hawthorn is one of my all time favourite plants.
