Utricularia sandersonni (Bladderwort)

Utricularia sandersonni, a tiny terrestrial bladderwort, these flowers are only about 5mm in size but are produced in abundance on stems up to 50mm in height. The actual plant grows on and just under the surface of the compost, its stems carry small bladder like traps to catch minute prey that comes too close. Natural light and uncropped.
