Lochmaea crataegi

A small beetle found on Hawthorne at Venus Pool, Shropshire. I did find several of these but they are one of those beetles that, at the slightest hint of danger, drop from the leaf they are on never to be seen again. Needless to say this was the only shot I managed of them.
