This Art Nouveau building became an attraction to visitors. Tickets have to be bought to visit the bookshop - the fare can be refunded if anything is bought inside. It stands on Carmelitas Street, Porto.
J.K. Rowling lived in Porto between 1991 and 1993 and it was the interior of this bookshop that inspired her in describing the interior of Hogwarts Magic School, in Harry Potter books.
