George Bernard Shaw The Sunday Challenge: The Future I think that this quote illustrates the image well as it ties together a cenotaph, the memorial to our horrible past, and a City Hall, a democratic institution where decisions about the future are formed.

TSC: Random locations combining four photographs I walked to each corner of the block I live on. There was a lot of gutter activity due to recent snows and near 0C temperatures. The water was draining under each grill but the leaves were doing their best beaver dam efforts.

The Sunday Challenge - What makes you cheerful. When the sun comes out in the winter it is always a time for cheer since we get less than 7.5 hours a day of sunlight. Here is our sun at high noon with the ice crystals on a -20c day creating sun dogs.
