Cupcakes That Trigger Minor Guilt
Saturday Self-challenge: Guilty Pleasures
I have two guilty pleasures to reference this week. TV and food.
I have to confess that one of our guilty pleasures is watching the Great British Bake Off. We have followed a few seasons since discovering it on TV. We even have a Canadian version of the show. www.cbc.ca/life/greatcanadianbakingshow
These cupcakes are made by a friend in Calgary and she drops some off when she comes up for a visit. She is particularly skilled at homemade gluten-free items. These are the cupcakes she makes for me, as my wife gets all the gluten-free stuff, which is excellent. These cupcakes have cream cheese, chocolate chunks, and pieces of Carmine Jewel cherries she harvests from her friend's yard. We always feel special which overcomes the guilt.
