The Bohemian Waxwings wait until winter and then consume every berry in the city. They travel in large flocks and pillage from tree to tree.

I did wonder, I guess this one must jut have got broken off.

We planted a black chokeberry in our garden earlier this year and were amazed at how much the blackbirds seemed to enjoy eating the berries. So we bought another and within minutes of it being planted it was stripped bare! :)
