I didn't fancy waiting up until it got to this stage, but I did try my first moon shots earlier just to see how they'd come out. Suffice to say I won't be posting any of mine any time soon! ;)

No, the tripod was fully deployed. I planned our drive back to the city to coincide with the eclipse. Once the clouds opened, I stopped and shot for about a half an hour until the clouds became too thick. This was my first photo and so far I think it was the best.
