We found this art installation of red shoes in an historic palace in Florence. There were hundreds of pair of shoes.

WOO HOO, look at all of those RED SHOES!!! MARVELOUS!! Oddly enough, I've been chatting to a couple of friends in regards to the Academia Museum, also in Florence, because they are interested in art, so I was telling them about the amazing David and unfinished pieces by Michelangelo which are there. And about those SHOES!! My husband and I were in Rome about 10 yrs ago and at that time the "exagerated pointy toed shoes" were all the rage in Italy and hadn't gotten to the US yet. We thought they were so strange, and I've never liked them. I'm pleased to see that the fashion has moved past those horrible things. Anyway, your picture is simply perfect for the first week of the Color Wheel, and I'm so glad you could join us! :)
