HTO Tower, Thessaloniki. Vintage mailed postcard mailed to the UK in 1972. The tower of Hellenic Telecomunications Organization (HTO - OTE) at the site of Thessaloniki International Exhibition. The tower was designed by architect Alexander Anastasiades and was completed in 1965. Around 1970 it was used to support antennas for a VHF mobile telephone service. Today it houses a rotating coffee shop and cellular telephone facilities of COSMOTE.
