Preserved DeHavilland DH-104 Dove aircraft G-ALFU (c/n 04234) of CAA at Duxford Aerodrome/EGSU (1987).
From 1948 to 1972 it belonged to the Civil Aviation Flying Unit at Stansted Airport. This aircraft was removed to Duxford in 1975. It still survives at Duxford, now relocated within Hangar C (Air and Space collection).

INDIA: postage stamp of 3.05 R commemorating the inauguration of a Tropospheric scatter (troposcatter) radio link between India and the Soviet Union. Terminal stations were located at Srinigar in Kashmir and at Dangara in Tajikistan, a distance of 685 km. The link operated on 800-900 MHz with 10 kW on each channel and carried 12 telephone channels, using Soviet made equipment.
