DORIS DIONYSOS DIOB station (2019)

The STAREC UHF transmitting antenna of DORIS DIONYSOS (DIOB) ground segment station (beacon) at Dionysos, Greece. DORIS ground segment beacons transmit to the satellites on 2036.25 MHz and 401.25 MHz. Signals are picked up and processed by small receivers on satellites using this system, like TOPEX/Poseidon and JASON. This broadband station is a NARDA AMB-8057-03/G and measures the intensity of the field in the band 100 kHz – 7 GHz and in three special bands related to GSM mobile networks (EGSM 900 925 MHz – 960 MHz, EGSM 1800 1805 MHz – 1880 MHz and UMTS 2110 MHz – 2170 MHz).
