BS 336 quick release fire hose coupling.

BS 336 specifies on the delivery side the non-symmetrical instantaneous coupling, consisting of a male and a female part, which are simply pushed together. Spring-loaded plungers in the female part grip in the gap of the male part. The couplings will be disconnected by pulling or twisting release lugs.
