The hibiscus

We've had this hibiscus for two summers now, and prior to this year it flowered occasionally, but more often dropped buds and leaves. We kept it in a partly shaded place over the summer, and it seemed to do better. It came in the house early due to a cool autumn, and apparently loves where it was placed. It has been blossoming now for about six weeks, and is finally resting. Anyway, it makes a nice, patient subject for photography.
