A frame within a frame. And perhaps those are two pilgrims.

This just reminded me of the shrine of the Black Madonna in Einsiedeln, Switzerland. When I was there many years ago the approach to it was lined with stalls selling religious souvenirs. I got a St. Francis of Assisi pen -- when you hold it upside down his robe comes off.

I hesitate to ask what he's wearing underneath! We pretty much know about what Marilyn wore there, of course. At least in her iconic photo.
