KN0340 KENORA - THE FALLS

02 Feb 2015 181
Posted on May 21, 1907, this "Real Photo" postcard has an undivided back. The message reads; "Falls at Kenora, Ont. now done away with & used as a power Station." Given the dates, this predates Kenora's current Norman Dam on the West Branch outlet of the Lake of the Woods and refers to the old Kenora Power House that was on the East Branch outlet. No photographer or publisher is identified.

It is located at quite a distance from the town of Kenora, but is within the (very large) district of Kenora.
