Really great image of the faces. An unusual stampede card for sure. Would the women have been among the female participants, I wonder?

That is really interesting. Related, I believe I read somewhere that the women contestants at the stampede competed against the men - that there were no gender-separate / gender-separate events. If so, that would have been an interesting backdrop for the Political Equality League's tent.
