Kontorhaus Nr. 48 (2 PiP)
Das Stella-Haus war schon 1874 für die Reederei Stella AG als 5-stöckiges Gebäude von Martin Haller erbaut worden. Als 1922 weitere 5 Stockwerke aufgesetzt werden sollten, hat man das Haus mit einem Pfeilersystem auf eigenen Fundamenten umstellt, um so die größere Last tragen zu können - damals eine technische Meisterleistung.
Über dem Eingangsportal wacht eine Putte vor einem Strahlenkranz über das Haus - es zeigt Poseidon als Knaben.
