Abside - S. Miguel de Odrinhas

Abside - S. Miguel de Odrinhas
According to the estate exhumed here, already in the 16th century. I a. C. there must have been a population center in São Miguel de Odrinhas that certainly gave rise to the villa, whose first period of apogee apparently occurred around the 1st century and the beginning of the 2nd.
Also noteworthy is the collection of a large Roman capital, of Syrian influence, of late chronology, integrated into the apparatus of an auxiliary wall supporting the church's belfry, built independently of the church.

Fred Fouarge, Erhard Bernstein, Rosalyn Hilborne, Marco F. Delminho and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo
