Reustener See

The lake emerged on the site of an old shell limestone quarry (defunct since the 1960s) that filled with ground water. It is now used for angling.

Der Reustener See entstand, als sich der in den 1960ern aufgegebene Muschelkalksteinbruch mit Grundwasser füllte. Heute wird der See von Anglern genutzt.

Und hier gibt es sogar ein Boot.... Die Seen, die in alten Steinbrüchen entstehen, sind oft sehr idyllisch gelegen.

Danke vielmals, Volker! Nicht nur kleiner (allerdings doch größer, als es auf dem Foto erscheint), sondern hier gibt's auch kein ausgedehntes Höhlensystem dahinter, denn es ist der etwas härtere Muschelkalk. Ein schönes Wochenende auch euch!

Besten Dank, Volker! Mit Höhlen ist es dort im Gäu nicht weit her, der Muschelkalk ist doch um einiges härter als der weiße Jura der Alb.
