Against the massive background these buildings resemble models. I love the lighting on the big house and the still reflections in the fjord, as well as the shadow on the snowy mountain.

Thank you so much, Amelia! The lighting and shadow caught my eye:-) I guess the big house must have been a fish warehouse. In former years it sported many kittiwakes' nests but they seem to have cleaned up.

Danke vielmals, Uwe! Der Schatten sprang mir sofort ins Auge, die Scheinwerfer waren allerdings etwas problematisch beim Fotografieren.

The buildings seem very small and insignificant tucked away against that magnificent background.

The light is really dramatic..........causing that darks shadow and beautiful reflections. An outstanding shot as always Gudrun.

Thanks very much, Keith! I was a bit annoyed at the too bright lighting, I had to tone down the lights.. But it definitely helped with the shadow.

Merci, poly! Dort oben wird enorm viel lichtverschmutzt, weil im WInter so wenig Licht ist. Alles hell erleuchtet, Langlaufpisten, Landstrassen, jedes Haus- und das die ganze Nacht durch;-) Strom ist dort ja billig, der Ort hat z.B. seine eigenen Windräder auf dem Berg stehen...

Danke vielmals, Frank! Ich habe mich über die sehr grellen Scheinwerfer geärgert (nusste die Lichter im nachhinein abdunkeln), aber für den Schatten waren sie gut.

Dort oben sehnen sie sich im Winter halt nach Licht, hilft gegen Depri- und der Lebertran gegen Vitamin D- Mangel;-)
