Thanks a lot, Paul! I only took photos of the town and river from the terrace- straight into the sun with a lot of lens flare;-)
But I took plenty of photos of the castlle:-) The gardens themselves aren't much to write home about, just lawn and trees (the original Renaissance Hortus Palatinus sadly hasn't been restored).

ich finde es schade, dass Du das Hochformat gewählt hast, Gudrun, so ist die Terrasse im Fokus und nicht die wunderschöne grüne Landschaft drumherum

Von dem Motiv habe ich auch ein Querformat, aber das habe ich aussortiert, weil deutlich mehr Himmel drauf war und noch etliche Häuser;-) Dank dir, Christel!
