The same for me + my husband in onco treatment too weak for me to leave him unassisted (we live 63km one from another so I can get there very quickly when he needs), also mine and his old dogs I have with me ... and no one else could take care of as they need.

Wild and wonderful. One of your favourite places to visit, Gudrun. I read your reply to Isabel, and i know how you all feel. Health issues (and age) stop me from doing lots of things, but, although my horizons have become more limited, I still take great pleasure in looking at places and things that change with each visit.

Thanks very much, Amelia! Yes, we all have to adapt our travelling to our circumstances and state of health.It's over a decade since I last took an intercontinental flight... I suppoe I still could but I don't really want to any longer and also prices have skyrocketed. Anyway, there's so much to see in Europe and also in Germany ( but that will keep for when I no longer can/ want to fly;-)
